Prozac is an antidepressant (a SSRI) that can be used to treat such symptoms as panic, anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Such medical conditions as kidney disease, liver cirrhosis, diabetes, epilepsy or seizures, a history of suicidal thoughts or drug abuse may be a contraindication for using this medicine.
